Tim's Masters Graduation! Woo Hoo!

I have to say that today is a day that I will always remember. Donna, Dave, and I got to be witness to Tim's graduation ceremony. He earned a Masters in accounting from University of North Carolina Charlotte. Tim worked really hard over the last two years to get his degree--and not only did he graduate, but he graduated with honors. I always believe things happen for a reason and I think that part of the reason that we moved to Charlotte was for Tim to go to school. I don't know what is next for him, but I am sure that we are onto great things! After the ceremony, Donna and Dave treated us to a wonderful dinner at Del Frisco's steakhouse in South Park. The food was excellent and the company had a great time!

Visit with Donna and Dave in Myrtle Beach

Donna and Dave travel quite a bit throughout the year. This year, they spent two weeks in Myrtle Beach in December prior to Tim's Graduation. As usual, they kindly invited us down to spend some time with them at their condo. We had a great time over looking the beach, watching football together, and taking holiday photos. In grand style, the condo had a huge hot tub. Donna is so fun had bubbles for the bubble bath. We made such a mess with bubbles, but there were some fun pictures. Finally, Tim and I rarely get pictures with one another, Dave was gracious to take some holiday photos for us. Enjoy the pictures.

The Boyd Family Holiday photos and their new home!

I guess one of my favorite new traditions over the holiday weekend is being able to "play" photographer with my sister's family. For the second straight year, Leslie and Drew have invited me into their home in order to capture images of their family for their holiday card. I love capturing their family as it changes...last year they had little puppy, Spencer as Santa. This year, their family has expanded with both Spencer and Annie. Annie dressed up as Mrs. Clause this year, while Spencer was a little Elf. The dogs were great sports for sure. For this year's photos, we decided to shoot them at Leslie and Drew's brand new house...their is nothing like being home for the holidays. Enjoy! We love you guys!

James 15th Birthday Party, Keely's New Apartment, and Holiday Cookies!

Our Thanksgiving weekend was full of celebrations! My brother, James', actual birthday is on December 3rd. This year, when my mom asked him what he wanted to do for his birthday party, he said that he wanted to have a family party when Tim and Megan were home. We were honored to get to be a part of James' birthday. I have to say that I cannot believe that James is already 15 years old! It makes me feel old. Citizens on the road in the state of Indiana will have to watch out for sure once James gets on the road.

The party was handled at sister, Keely's, chic new apartment in Carmel. The whole family came along with James friend, Connor. We shared pizza from Bazbeaux, had an awesome cake prepared with love by Jacqueline, watched James open gifts, and of course, birthday spankins.

After dinner, we watched the Christmas favorite, Elf, and we decorated Christmas cookies! You will be impressed with Keely and Jac's beautiful art. I love these family occassions and these are the things that I miss about Indy.
