High School Friend comes to visit

The great thing about Charlotte is that it is an airport hub and it is actually a desirable place to visit. We have been blessed with a variety of guests over the last year, which has made it a lot of fun! Tim's childhood friend, Chris Jacobs, swung by on his way back from a research trip in NYC. The guys mostly just visited with one another, however, we took a trip up the Blueridge Parkway for sight seeing, etc.

School Days!

As many of you know, we are SO excited as Tim has gone back to school for his Masters of Accounting at UNC--Charlotte. In addition to class and studying, he is even a "pledge" this semester....Ha! 28 and a pledge. In all seriousness, Tim has joined the professional accounting fraternity, Beta Alpha Psi. Tim loves it for many reasons, but mainly the following:

1.) He gets to dress up in his suits and stuff for their meetings, and

2.) It is a great way for him to schmooze and get to know the public accounting firms.

Tim has been so busy with them, that he has events with them 2-3 times a week! Hard Core!
